<image:caption>I implement a Client-Centered Approach which incorporate your strengths and intuition with my expertise in mental health to help you process difficult emotions and feel more attuned to your needs. This means that our therapy process is more collaborative, helping you find the solutions that feel best to you; while increasing insight, helping regulate emotions, processing painful experiences, and finding intuitive ways of healing. I am trained in EMDR and IFS, my experience in these modalities aid in moving through difficult emotions and connecting these emotions to your body’s felt sense and ultimately moving through stuck feelings.</image:caption>

      <image:title>About Me - A Safe Place</image:title>
<image:caption>I am a big believer in having a safe place to express vulnerable feelings and explore tough subjects. My office is set up to be an ideal safe place for clients to have the mental and physical room to process difficult emotions, express vulnerable ideas, and create a place of calm and growth for themselves. In addition to having a physically safe place, I also believe that in order for therapy to be successful the client and therapist need to have a “good fit”.</image:caption>

      <image:title>About Me - Finding a Good Fit</image:title>
<image:caption>Figuring out if you are a good fit with a therapist can take several sessions, or it may be a gut reaction you have on your first interaction with a therapist. An ideal fit would be one where you feel you can build trust with the therapist, AND know they will hold you accountable while also making space for uncomfortable subjects. Most often, successful therapy takes place in between feeling uncomfortable and feeling safe. When looking for a good fit, look for a therapist whose style would suit you best, and who has expertise in what you are wanting to work on. Asking questions can help you determine if you would be able to build a working relationship with that therapist. I offer free phone consultations so that we can discuss what you are needing from therapy, and assess if we would be a good fit.</image:caption>
